Phase Change Material (PCM) packs are precision refrigerants used within TCQ-qualified packaging systems to maintain defined temperature ranges by absorbing and releasing thermal energy at a specific phase-change point. Unlike traditional gel refrigerants, PCM packs are engineered to hold tighter temperature bands and are commonly used when temperature excursions must be minimized.

PCM packs are available in multiple temperature set points, sizes, and fill weights to support validated TCQ pack-out configurations across parcel and bulk shipping applications. Final thermal performance is achieved at the system level, based on the complete shipper, refrigerant quantity, payload, and lane assumptions.
